Dear friends and listeners,

I hope this finds you well and enjoying spring into summer season.
Nature is more powerful than all, and I try to enjoy and remember that every day, when I hear some other crazy news. And with this new season’s energy, I am very happy to tell you about two upcoming performances.

First, this Sunday, “Hateiva” Marathon, with Albert Beger!
Albert Beger has been a long time inspiration and close collaborator of mine, and I am thrilled every time we get a chance to perform together. We will perform as part of the “Teiva Marathon”, one of my favorite events!

Later in the summer, my favorite new ensemble, the quintet returns to a new festival in Pardes Hanna! A beautiful event created by good people and for good people, full of great performances.
And to top it all – my sister, Noa Fort will be joining us on voice directly from NYC!

I will conclude with a video from my last performance with Albert, of my composition “As Two”. A tune I wrote many year ago when I was still living in NY, and recorded it on my album “A Long Story” with Paul Motian, Ed Schuller and Perry Robinson. When I wrote it, I looking with sadness, fear and hope on what was going on in my home region. It is even more difficult now, but living here and creating from here makes me feel like this is where the energy can come from to create a better reality.

I know for sure, that music can create even the smallest change, and this is my hope.
